The group defined their vision as... Vision... This concert series will be held at the Blissfield Presbyterian Church. It has an interested congregation, it seats 100+ people, it has adequate adjacent parking and it has an area suitable for reception/intermission hospitality events. The series will be ruled by a controlling board/committee of at least seven and contain at least three members of the Presbyterian congregation. Concerts will be held quarterly with March, June, September, December as target months. The project will be supported financially by ticket sales, contributions, and a graduated scale of donations. Tickets will be reasonably priced, offering an opportunity for all to attend. It will be a non-profit community organization that will move any year-end surplus funds to the next year's budget. Concerts will consist of a variety of musical genres and will feature educational factors with each performance. The programs will include local talent as a part of each concert and local youth talent as often as possible. The group promises that all local talent, like the professionals, will also be paid. |
